Note to Chris Christie: If Glenn Beck Dislikes You, You’re Doing Something Right

Glenn Beck went on The O’Reilly Factor to discuss his dislike of just about everyone. He attacked establishment Republicans, Chris Christie, and even libertarians.

If anyone figures out what Beck’s game is now, let me know.

  1. I don’t even bother listening to what he says.. and your title is absolutely right…

He is a hypocrite. He is a self-professed libertarian, and adheres to that political ethos on the domestic front. But then you look at the libertarian ethos vis-a-vis foreign policy, as espoused by Ron Paul, and what did he do; goes after Ron Paul on that issue and attacks Paul supporters in general. This is a piece from Mediate in 2012:

“Ron Paul needs to shhhhhh on foreign policy,” Beck suggested, “You sound a little like Osama Bin Laden at times,” he told O’Reilly. “It’s not America’s fault, and I don’t think Ron Paul gets that,” he noted, to which O’Reilly added, “and he never will.”

This is what he had to say about Paul supporters last Fall:

“You guys are so delusional you’re going to lead to the Arab Spring. What is wrong with you people? Ron Paul is not running. He’s not running.”

By the way, the “fringe libertarians” who will “eat their own” is a direct shot at Ron Paul supporters who went after Beck in response to his attacks on Ron Paul and them. Now GB is just pissed off and wants to slam the door on them hard–i.e., his comments about Paul’s tweets about Chris Kyle’s murder.

I remember when raving lunatics were encouraged to seek help. Now, thanks to the likes of Faux News they’re given airtime and 7 figure contracts. I have yet to meet anyone that believes anything Glenn Beck says. I really hope people only watch him because of their morbid curiosity.
